MTN Scholarship 2014 for University, Polytechnic and College of Education students are now open to interested Nigerian applicants.

Applicants from public Universities and Colleges of Education should have a minimum CGPA score of 3.5 or 2:1 which is its equivalent.
Polytechnic applicants must possess a minimum GPA of 3.0 (which is upper credit) from the OND programme and secured admission into the HND programme.
Direct entry applicants must have the minimum GPA of 3.0 (upper credit) from a OND programme and must have gained admission into 200 level or 2nd year in public University in Nigeria.
Those who are holds currently a MTN foundation scholarship should not apply.
It case an applicant provides false details/information on the form, MTN Foundation has the right to cancel or suspend the scholarship.
Successful candidates will have their names published in the foundation website and national dailies.
In order to apply for the MTN Scholarship 2014, your current course must be among the following under listed courses in public universities, polytechnics or college of Educations:
Agricultural Extension and Rural Development
Animal Breeding and Genetics
Animal Production and Health
Aquaculture and Fisheries Management
Computer and Electronics
Computer and Information Science
Computer and Mathematics
Electronics and Computer Technology
Metallurgical and Materials Engineering
Physics/ Computational Modeling
Petroleum and Gas Engineering
Pure/ Applied Physics
Statistics and Computer Science
Closing date for this scholarship application is 4th May, 2014 by 12:00 a.m.
NB: You will be required to explain in not more than 200 words how the Telecommunication industry has positively impacted Nigeria’s National development and Globalisation (You will mention 3 areas of impact).
